Rubbery Ribery?

Arsenal have apparently have managed to procure a first option for Franck Ribery.  According to Sky, Wenger could sign the French star in the summer.  Although Ribery is a fantastic player who really stood out for France at the ’06 Cup, I’m not sure how he would fit in at the squad.  Our midfield is really starting to fill out with new signings Baptista and Rosicky, as well as an injured Diaby due back in the next 4 weeks.

Regardless, it’s great to see that the club is already looking to spend some money in the summer.  We really haven’t spent much on new talent in the last year, most new acquisitions have been trades or low money deals.
