Well I’ve been away for quite some time haven’t I? My apologies. I was busy enjoying my time off during the holidays and getting engaged.
It was a splendid day today as Arsenal beat Liverpool 3-1 at Anfield. This is the second time we’ve beat Liverpool this season, the first at Emirates 3-0. It’s great to see our young side show up and play for such a big game. We’re playing them again on Tuesday with what will surely be a different side.
For my first post back I figured I would just share the Arsenal goals via YouTube.

Thierry Henry’s Skillful Goal against the Liverpool Defense
My thoughts on this match: Flamini gave the Liverpool midfield a hard time by hassling their every move, Senderos and Toure were both mighty in defense, and RVP was amazing. I don’t know how he got that shot off from the right side with his left foot. Too bad it didn’t go in. I think Senderos cleared more balls from the goal front than Liverpool had shots.
Rosicky finally put some shots in the back of the net. It’s been a long time coming and I’m glad he’s finally done it. There were some potential injuries to the squad so we’ll have to wait to hear the news.

RVP’s run was amazing. True, he was shut out pretty well all match.
Ummmm… Rosicky scored four month ago in mid-September. He has since missed more opportunities than I care to count. Don’t get me wrong, the guy is great, but these goals were still a long time coming.
not up dating the daily blog gunner for seven days will 1, girlfriend 7 game over she wins, the women always win. or you should let her anyway. dont think either striker played that well yesterday and i dont really think that robin and henry can they look to alike. only henry was droping deeper but wanting to be more forward! you cant beat adibayors workrate that involves dropping deep and doing all the hardwork. making and scoring goals
Not a wise move for the second goal, Thomas should have played it back to Henry immediately instead. If not for the daydreaming liverpool defence we might have wasted a chance which stands a higher probability of scoring had it been played to Henry immediately.
But its good to see that we have players confident enough to shoot outside the box. And if i remember correctly, Dudek had failed to save one single on target shot from us.

Actually RvP was amazing. If you watch his passing and defending (especially from Liverpool corners) for virtually the whole game you can see that there is so much to his game. He never lets the centre halfs relax and his runs into space are exceptional. Even though in this game both forwards were isolated at times, because Liverpool were stronger in midfield and dominated possession, they both played an important part in the victory. When Rosicky scored in both cases RvP and Henry had drawn the central defenders and midfielders, giving Tomas just enough space to shoot.

Can someone please upload pics of Lauren throttling Neville? How I wish Arsene would sign me for one game and just put me in at the end with one minute to spare. That would be plenty of time to run out, choke Rooney (while singing “who are ya”) for his non-talked about dive, receive my red card and solute the gooner nation laughing menacingly on the way off the pitch.
